God speaks with his people primarily by using their mind, through the ideas and the ideas that come to them. I have to beware though since there is an additional power that speaks with me in my mind, the enemy of God, better known as Lucifer, satan, the devil, and his minions which are demons. Basically the battleground for my soul, my life, my being is located in my mind.
It is crucial that I am living rightly before God, that I am not living sinfully whatsoever, that I have a right heart and a friendship with God. I have repented of my past sins and the sins of my forefathers. I believe that the blood that Jesus bled onto the soil at the cross in Jerusalem provides a full eradication of these sins.
I try to live perfect, to live extremely near to God, to remain under the shelter of his wings. However on occasion I still sin when I am tempted and I still sin. However I am quick to make it right, to turn away, to change and to ask Jesus again to cover me with his blood and cleanse me.
Understand, God doesn't tolerate sin however in fact withdraws, recoils, pulls back his power and his protection and his association. Sin is like a thick black dark cloud in between me and God.
I eliminate that black cloud by confessing and altering in my damaged areas and then trusting that the blood of Jesus wipes out those sins.
So, so long as I have a right relationship with God, by right living and being cleaned up by Jesus Christ, I can ask him to talk with me, to direct me and to direct me.

The best I can gather now is to continue to do what I've been doing. To be a prayer walker, to walk and pray, to pray for the land that I walk on. My situation has been how God will supply and care for us as we take a trip and walk the land and remit the sin of the forefathers on the land.
