This kind of sharing can change lives around. The one on one contact can really be helpful to people who are in need and need to know that there is someone out there who cares. There are a lot of people who need guidance in this world. These teams have helped millions of people in more ways than one.
It is not only those who have been saved on the continents like Asia, Europe, South America and Africa, but Youth with a Mission also works on Ships. They have a ship which goes out to people who are in need and minister to them. You will do your DTS here, and afterwards, you will go with the rest of the students to various third world countries on the ship.
There are some people who have serious conditions and would have never had the chance to see a doctor. In a case like this they would just have gone blind. After a doctor from a YWAM ship has dealt the situation, the patient in a country like Mozambique would be back on track. To them, this is like night and day. For the doctor, it is very rewarding in one of these YWAM DTS locations.
