By Jerri Perry

East Africa Social Network has millions of users already and the majority of the fans in this case are the young adults. In fact, more then 90% of persons within the age range of 17 and 25 have active profiles, which they visit several times on a daily basis. At least more than one million young adults in this region of Africa visit their accounts on a daily basis.

The most interesting part, however, is the idea that someone can actually meet with someone online and have something special going on. The notion that finding love on these websites is easy is what actually makes people who are searching for soul mates to resort to the new solution. Meeting someone at work or in the Church is almost becoming an obsolete reality.

The use of interactive platforms has become part of life today, for the adolescents and some percentage of the aged persons. Research conducted on the use of interactive sites indicate that at least 90% of the American teens have active profiles, others have social networking websites and still, others visit their profiles more than one time in a daily.

Understanding the role of these services in the lives of young people is quite difficult. Still, many parents, educators and mentors have the interest of knowing whether these services are helpful to the young generation or whether they are a waste of time. As already stated, these types of websites are both useful and harmful.

The idea of fraud on dating websites alone is a reason for you to refrain from their frequent use. There are actually cases where malicious account users have turned these sites into moneymaking machines, where they beautifully cheat and in return swindle individuals who are innocently and passionately searching for companions. This did not start happening today and it is sad it will keep happening.

The common reason behind the fame of these sites is that they make it very easy to meet someone new. In fact, traditional methods of communication did not make it possible for thing like true friendship and real love to happen. People had to walk at least miles or walk through the tough journey of getting to know someone. The case is different today.

If you look at how young people intermingle e on social network these days, you will probably be glad and be thankful to the developers. Perhaps the one reason that led to the invention was to solve the problem of having to travel far to meet that friend, to conduct that business deal or to meet that life partner. Some reasons for using these platforms are ridiculous, but you cannot avoid them either.

If anything, East Africa Social Network already has an effective on the lives of so many people. In fact, the young people ought to ask themselves how these platforms are useful and learn to identify whether there are any effects that could come in between them and their families. Bottom line is that these sites will always interfere with the normal means of interaction among parties.
