The Christian faith is spreading with each new day which translates to the fact that the available churches are not enough to support the vast number of people joining these places of worship. This calls for more buildings to be erected and it has been witnessed in many places around the world. In order for this to turnout successful, it is important to choose the right team to man the projects and in connection to this, below is information concerning church building committee.

These are charged with the mandate of making sure that the set budget is strictly followed so that they may not run out of cash, an architect is included as a part of this team for structural design purposes and lastly the progress of the project is monitored from time to time to make sure that everything is going on as planned.

The committee may consist of elders of this church and other dignified officials. This is however not guaranteed as some churches see it fair to select a representative of all members of starting from that one with the lowest position to the major church leaders. This is for the purpose of showing the congregation that the building is for the service of all and not a few selected individuals.

Before selection is done, there is a special team which is given the authority to select those who will be part of the committee. This is the most crucial step and if the wrong set of person is chosen then the wrong team will be selected and the future of the project becomes uncertain.

There are some characteristics which should be present in all members who are given this role to play. To begin with, they are supposed to have a high level of intelligence and hence able to make wise decisions in case they find themselves at crossroads. Secondly, it is important that a high level of Christianity be witnessed in them which means that the goal will be full service of the church with no interference.

It is paramount that the selected team is able to put their needs and desires aside and making sacrifices which include their precious time and money where necessary just to make sure that everything goes on smoothly and there are no hitches along the way.

When someone is rendered with this responsibility, it is important that they become aware that this is not just any other task which one can quit at any time they please. The only thing that should make one decide that they no longer want to be part of the team is either death or transfer to another city. This should be held up even in the event that things are not working out as planned. It means that individuals should be able to stay and try looking for a solution.

In summary of the above, good management is crucial to make sure that the church building process is smooth. Poor management will lead to squandering of donated funds and the result of this will not be up to the required standard which is a big failure to everyone who s concerned.
