By Tammie Caldwell

Every year the CIAA garners plenty of excitement for fans, alumni, and college students. During and after games, especially games where a favorite team has won, there is a lot of celebrating. One thing to look forward to is the amazing 2016 CIAA parties that will be had. Some of these will take place in sports bars, or dining establishments. Others will take place in homes. If you want your party to be a hit, there some helpful tips to follow that will help ensure that it is.

Utilize themed adornments. Contingent upon the season and the game being played, there are huge amounts of adornments available with sporting subjects. These are perfect for the sort of gathering you are having as visitors enter they will see the majority of the games themed layout. This will help to set the tone for the gathering.

Stick to team colors for the paper goods. This is a great way to show off your team spirit. Everyone will know where your team loyalty lies as soon as they walk in the door. The colors will help to amp up the excitement.

Parties can quickly get out of hand. Everyone has seen stories of homes that are damaged, and property that is destroyed by guests who show up uninvited. It is up to you to make sure that everyone who enters your home is something you personally know. If friends bring along additional people, polity let them know that this is unacceptable. Keep your home secure, and safe by keeping unknown people out.

Keep alcohol away from under aged guests. The legal drinking age is 21. This is true whether you are visiting and establishment, or having people in your home. Serving alcoholic beverages to minors could result in criminal charges against the host of the party. Have plenty of soft drinks on hand for anyone who is under age, and also for those who do not drink alcohol.

Serve finger snacks. Finger snacks are super easy to eat, particularly at big get-togethers. You will probably will not have a large enough dining area for everyone. Therefore, finger snacks bode well. Chips, popcorn, finger sandwiches, and hot wings are always a great decision. Treats, and little cakes are likewise superb foods for these sorts of gatherings. Visitors will enjoy having a wide selection of food choices.

Rent an extra large television. On the off chance that your TV is little, lease an extra large flat screen television for the viewing pleasure of your guests. This way the greater part of your visitors will have the capacity to view the game. A little TV makes it hard to watch a game when you have a group. An expansive television screen lets everybody get in on the activity.

Remember and follow the above party tips to help your event be a success. A successful gathering is one that is both enjoyable, and safe. A good host knows how to find a balance between fun, and responsibility. Make your parties the type that are always remembered and thought of fondly. Soon word will get out that you are a wonderful host, who does their best to see to it that guests are comfortable, and happy. Of course one final tip is to make sure you enjoy your party as well.
