Why And What Should We Pray For

By April Briggs

We live in a time that people tend to believe in themselves more than they believe in God. In this article, we will focus the attention on what should we pray for and how praying will change our life for the better. Our primary focus will be on the things that we can ask God to help us in times of happiness and times of distress. We cannot live a life as though we do not have a person that is up in heaven that understands our predicament.

The purpose of this writing is to encourage those that have seen no reason for praying. It takes a lot of faiths to improve on the desire to seek the face of God. We live in an era that people trust so much in science such that they want to see the evidence of things before they believe in.

If we are to live a comfortable life with God, then we must be able to communicate with them at all times. Communication is the only way to sustain a relationship. The more we talk to one another the better we relate to the people. In this modern times let us look at some of the reason that should make you pray. The first of them it to give praise. Praising and worshiping is a mandatory activity that will make you complete.

We are a mind, body and soul and the three aspects of human beings need to be nourished at all times. If we are in the habit of eating good food to the body and we miss the important aspect of feeding our spirit at some point, we will feel empty.

That means that we need to highlight and discuss with him why we need the thing that we are asking. On the same note, it needs not be a self interest kind of intercession such that it is centered towards us. If we keep praying just by asking without giving thanks and praising then, we make it complicated.

We have free breathed air, and we can plan our things that will succeed according to his will and glory. The next important aspect that makes us a family is the fact that we intercede for each other. Praying for other people gives us the energy to see them us part of the family.

It makes us aware the we are brothers and sisters in this world such that we need each other, and we share common problems for all. Intercession means that we can offer the requests that are in the interest of God and that of those around us.

We attend night vigil in churches, and people go silent within a time frame of a few minutes because they lack the words. It is not the presence of many words that determine if you are effective in our prayer, but it is the honesty that is in the heart of the person offering the supplication. Prayer is simply talking to a caring father that would listen to you if you put your concerns to him.
