Reason As To Why People Should To Respect The Day Of Atonement

The Atonement day begins at sundown and ends before dark the following day. It is also known as Yam Kippur. In the Jewish calendar it is a time set for repentance of ones sins and focus on the preceding year. It is considered as the most important holiday, and many who do not regularly observe other Jewish practices have respected this day. They go to synagogue to on the Day of Atonement and fast. There are some important facts that people should know about Yam Kippur.

This is a day that is so significant to the Jews. A very high percentage of people believe that this the right moment when people make peace with God. There are people who have committed sin and seek for forgiveness. Therefore, they consider it as the holiest day of the calendar year. They liken this day to High Holy Day or days of Awe. This makes it so important to the community that believes in almighty God.

In the bible the scriptures clearly state that people who commit sins are booked by God. The lord closes the names in a way that no one can delete them. They will be used during the judgment day. The Jews are not an exception. They use this day to confess and repent all the sins they have committed. This helps them to bring back the good relationship they had lost with others and their soul sustainer.

There are many busy events that take place before or during the Yam Kippur. The Jews mark the event the day before by presenting a loaf to God. They look for a special place where they can find water body. Thereafter, they walk in a multitude to the place. This is where they recite prayers and show their commitment to the lord for they are willing to part ways with sins. They throw away the bread into the river to show that they have also thrown away their burden of sins.

More religious Jews will perform the symbolic atonement rite in preparation of this day. They swing a chicken over their head three times while reciting Isaiah chapter one verse eighteen. They then slaughter the creature and donate it or its monetary value to the charitable organizations. This is one way of showing their willingness to repent their offences.

There are different materials that are used to show solidarity and peace in our community. The doves are used in many nations to show peace. This is also important to the Jewish community as they dress in white colors to symbolize the important of peace and togetherness. This brings together people who hold grudge for one another and make peace so that they can have a new beginning.

There is a special group of people who must avoid these rituals. Women who are likely to be blessed with children and young born do not participate in these rituals. Forcing them to participate is subjecting them to hostility. All people should not indulge in sex activities.

Regardless of gender and religion, people should respect this religion and practices. They should rest during this time to repent their transgressions. It is important%0
