Dreaming about an overseas vacation and a wedding to match all weddings is just what the Doctor ordered. Jewish destination weddings take on many forms and there is plenty to choose from by just doing a simple search on the Internet. Every wish and need is catered for and the couple can look forward to a stress free time as organizers do the rest.
If it is getting back to the root of it all then look no further than having it in Israel. This is where one can experience the beauty of the land that is so close to the hearth and look at having the Chupah at the Kotel or Western Wall. There is so much to do in this neck of the woods and one can use it as a base to do other incursions into the land itself.
For those that do not know what a Shawarma is, it is served in pita bread stuffed with meat or chicken and overloaded with different salads, techina and chariff. Charrif is a chilly sauce to spice it up but be careful it can be rather burny. Kosher caterers abound in this part of the world and it is not difficult to procure the right one.
Chariff or something hot is added and this is usually a chilly sauce to go with it. It is a meal on its own and makes up the staple wants of any true Israeli. Tradition abounds in Jerusalem and it is the perfect place for a wedding as one explores the many side streets with shops offering whatever the heart desires.
Whilst in the country one can use this opportunity to incorporate it with a honeymoon. Go up North and experience the Kinneret whilst eating fish caught directly from this beautiful inland lake, one of the many resources found in Israel. In this area one can take a trip to see ancient Roman ruins and get transported back in time.
In this part of the world there is an incredible amount of antiquity to be had as many years ago Roman outposts speckled this area. Today one can witness a time gone by by going to any one of the many restoration sites in this area. A trip to the Golan is also a main attraction and to visit land that is politically in hot water of contention.
Unfortunately far away destinations does have a down side in that all guests will not be able to make the trip. This is always due to constraints of time and financial issues. However, it is easy to bypass this and have a small get together locally for those that will not be able to travel.
It is a time to be remembered for always. Both groom and bride are in for the experience of a lifetime especially if done abroad. With a few clicks one is on the way there.
