By Amanda Baird

The peace-loving and holy prophet which was named Jesus Christ by his followers which later became the Christian religion and Esa Ruhullah by the followers of Islam is highly esteemed by both. The lessons that he gave brought about a new wave of enlightenment across the world. Although his miraculous birth and childhood has been transcribed, information on the 18 missing years of Jesus Christ between 12 and 30 years are very sparse to non-existent.

Although he has not yet reached his teens, he was conscious of his important job even then. During a journey back home from Jerusalem, his mother found that he was not with the caravan. They have just returned from Jerusalem where they spent the Easter weekend. Not surprisingly they found him with the learned scholars in the temple.

There was no doubt about the responsibility, openness and trustworthiness of the child even at this young age and the parents had a lot of faith in him. Scrolls and old scriptures that were found in Kashmir, India clearly confirmed the presence of a man that was spiritually well advanced and went by the name of Saint Issa. This man was highly respected by the learned men of the country.

The Saint Issa was known for speaking out against the many idol gods that the people prayed to and instead urged them to turn and pray to the One Most Powerful God alone. He completed his learning in Kashmir and left an indelible mark on the country. Travelers to the eastern countries which came across scripts about the saint made it known in the west and stirred up quite an interest.

A man that has become world renowned for his psychic abilities is an American called Edgar Cayce. His claim to fame was the detailed prescriptions and medical treatments that he gave to sick patients with the uncanny amount of accuracy and precision. All this was done during a state of hypnosis which he himself induced. Besides giving out medical cures, he also talked widely on religion, prophets and all other worldly matters.

His success rate was enormous and he became known as "the sleeping prophet". His readings were meticulously recorded, documented and filed as they contained valuable information about medicinal cures and specialized treatments for many ailments. The particular one about Saint Issa in India was very clear and precise.

Edgar Cayce revealed that Jesus was encouraged by a woman of the Essenene tribe to become acquainted with the spiritual teachings of the East, in particular that of the Buddhist religion. He was accepted and instructed by prominent Brahman saints and of course earned great respect in view of his own development and knowledge. Before he reached his thirtieth year he went back to Israel to teach the Gospel.

The mere fact that this information came from such a distinguished person makes it quite probable that these events really happened. With more and more researchers probing into the situation the 18 missing years of Jesus Christ may become an accepted part of history. As this section is evidently lacking in western scripts makes it even more plausible.
