The Central Beliefs Of First Baptist Church San Antonio TX

By Jason Turner

Belief is the most powerful human sense. It is more powerful than sight, smell, or even hearing. A person with a deep Christian belief sees things that the human eye cannot see. He hears supernatural things. Of course, a staunch Christian belief is not built overnight. It takes time to be a strong believer and follower of the Christian teachings of a First Baptist Church San Antonio TX. First, one hears a Christian teaching then he believes it and follows it. The Bible says that faith as small as the mustard seed is enough to move a mountain.

The core Baptist belief is that one should be baptized. This involves immersion into water. One will enter the water as old creature and will come out of it as a new creature. Baptism will mark the start of a new life. Even in the Bible, it is said that a human being should be born again if he hopes to see eternity.

The single most important thing that will ever happen in the life of a believer is baptism. Nothing else will be as significant as the baptism by fire and the baptism by water because they facilitate the cleansing of sin and the subsequent acceptance as a child of the kingdom. Baptism cannot be undone. It is the true mark of the believer.

He who is baptized becomes as white as snow. All his sins are erased and forgiven. Sin is bad. It is the reason for all the problems in the world. The first humans sinned in a bad way and humans continue to sin and fall out of grace. After baptism is a chance to embrace a life of holiness and repentance.

The entire Baptist belief is fully rooted in the Holy Bible. Without this book, Christianity would not have existed in the first place. Thus, it is the book that gives hope to the Christian believer that there is a better life at the end of the tunnel. There is no book that has ever been true and holy like the Bible.

There are the Old and the New Testaments. The Old Testament is basically made up of prophesies most of which are fulfilled in the new. The latter testament starts with the book of Mathew and end with Revelation that foreshadows what is it to come in the End Times. Most Christians believe that the end is near because of the signs.

The signs of the end are very clear. There will be suffering and distress all over the world and then the end will come and it will be a moment of great joy to the believer because it will mark the end of all the suffering and the start of a blissful life. Blessed are those who will be granted entry to eternity.

Christianity is a force that cannot be stopped. Many powerful kings tried to stop Christianity but they have failed miserable. Presently, more than half of the population of the world is made up of Christian believers. There are a number of Christian denominations. The major one is the Catholic Church. First Baptist church is part of the Protestant denomination. There is also Adventism.
