Importance Of Church Planting Management Ministry Pastor Growth

By Melissa Howard

If you want to know what the church really means, it is important to revisit the Bible where the word was first mentioned. Looking at some of its synonyms will help you have a better understanding of this word. The church also means the house of God, a fellowship, a group of people who are called by His name or a synagogue. This means that it does not necessarily mean a building even though it represents it in a way. God wants the church to grow and expand. That is why Jesus gave the last commission to go to the uttermost ends of the earth. Today, church planting management ministry pastor growth helps in fulfilling the last commission.

The first challenge one may have is fear and anxiety. For pastors under a ministry, they begin to analyze how the exercise will still allow them to get money. The major thing he usually considers is how he will even raise some money for himself and his household.

Money is not the only challenge he sees at that time. He is also concerned about the safety of his family when he is in a distant land. This can make his plan to write a resignation letter until he hears about a group of people that help pastors fulfill their calling in the ministry.

Money is not even the major problem that faces church planting tasks. In most occasions, it has been seen how pastors suddenly fall sick to the point of death because the devil attacked their health. These and other challenges are better solved when the man of God has a group of people praying for him and not just providing financial support.

The mere fact that you are doing God's work will not shield you away from troubles. The only thing is that God's ears are inclined to the prayers of those that are his and he is very ready to help once prayers are made. This is why a standby team that prays before any step is taken is necessary. A planting management team with prayer warriors is the best to go with.

Another challenge that arises is ego. Some pastors praise themselves when they feel they are doing so well praise themselves and they also expect their members to do the same. They forget that if not for God, the enemy would have wiped them away. They fail to give God the praise and thus, they fall into sin. But this challenge is eliminated when a planting ministry takes over the job.

Pastors should not get jealous when asked to plant their own church. They should not feel that they are being treated unequally with the others. It is not a time to get jealous over other ministers who are given a nice place to start with once they graduate from school. Instead, it is a time to thank God for the task and trust his leadership and supplies.

But if you sincerely think you cannot do the job, it is better to recruit others instead of rejecting the assignment. God's work must be done and it does not matter who goes about it. You may then supervise the work of the people you have asked to help you out. This may even be better as they will also help you to find new members.
