It Was Necessary That I Do What I Could To Buy A Stunning Christening Gown

By Hilma K. Keebler

Hearing that my dear sister was going to be giving birth to twins was wonderful news and I made sure to tell her that I would do what I could to make the process easier for her, but I was surprised when all she asked me to do was buy a christening gown, a task that I performed admirably. Even though she was having twins, they were fraternal and only one of them was going to be female, so my gown finding jobs were narrowed down to my only finding one gown and I was told that the boy's clothes would be handled by my other sister.

Since both outfits would be white, there was no need to me to find a match in terms of ruffles or other frills, although I hoped he wouldn't be in something too frilly. I thought that there would be tons of little boutiques for this sort of thing in my area, but when I drove around looking for them, I learned that I was incredibly wrong and that I had no idea where to find a christening gown.

I'll admit that I was a bit bummed out as I made my way home, where I sat down at my computer and began hunting for the gown that would knock everyone's socks off at the Christening, but I didn't think it would really happen. I was extremely pleased when I found out that there was indeed a website on the Internet where one can choose from an astonishing variety of gowns as well as from a larger collection of white clothing for a number of different religious events.

I browsed through the selection for a while and finally settled on a gown that I hoped my sister would like for her daughter, placing the order with a lot of faith and hope. When it arrived, I was quite impressed as it looked even better than it had in the picture, and I knew that whenever my niece was born that it was going to be a perfect fit for her.

The twins were born with all of the usual fanfare, and I was able to see them the day after they were born, which simply made my day and it was all I could do not to take them home and snuggle them for hours and hours. I showed my sister the gown and she loved it, telling me that she could not wait to show off her new baby and tell everyone what an incredible job I had done finding a dress in such a short amount of time in a small town!
